From time to time, a criminal case ends with a wrongful conviction or sentence – there might not have been a crime at all, the wrong person might have been convicted, or the process might have failed so significantly that the conviction is unsafe.
The Planning and Performance Officer will support the smooth running of the organisation, based on effective planning and monitoring of performance against established targets and processes.
The post holder will work closely with operational colleagues, ensuring they have access to and an understanding of relevant and accurate data. You will interrogate, analyse and present data so decisions can be made based upon an evidence base showing current performance.
You will will support the business and corporate planning processes, enabling a planned process, supporting with effective monitoring of finalised plans, measuring and reporting on performance against the plans.
Although our office is based in central Birmingham, this role is homebased, using the latest IT to stay connected with colleagues, and attending the office only when necessary.
